Artful Academia
The musings of a landscape painter, art teacher, and art history lover
While hiking the Grand Canyon several years back now, I paused at a nice little spot where a creek was bubbling over some red rocks. I believe this was somewhere near Ribbon Falls, but to be honest I was so exhausted at that point, I am not sure where it was. The little creek called to me and I took a few photos, for I, much like Robert Frost, still had miles to go before I could sleep - no matter how much I wanted to at that moment! My friends and I did not stop long, but years later I still think of that little spot and how I wished I could have just made camp there for the night.
