Kapalua’s Cliff House

On Kapalua's beach (Maui,HI) , just down from the resort, you can follow a small beach trail. This trail takes you along the waterfront and over some beautiful volcanic rocks.  One of the trail's highlights is the small cliff house that precariously perches right above the water.  Reportedly, this house was built in the 1940's as part of the original plantation.  It is currently owned by the Montage Kapalua Bay and can be rented out for events.  How fun would that be! Marla and I followed the trail to this location and watched as kids jumped from the cliffs into the bright blue waters.  I had to make a painting!
